I once heard from a good friend of mine who is a multi millionaire. He told me something that I will never forget. He told me: “Will, getting rich is not a matter of how smart you are. It is just about having and applying the correct strategies”. We went on to discuss about what rich people are doing right and how poor people are doing the wrong thing again and again. Since then I have never look back.

On my journey to wealth (it’s not a destination, it’s a process), I have found many great friends who keep sharing similar strategies that got them to where they are. I have personally used these strategies to my own benefit and I am sure this can help you as well.

1. Clarity

Determine what you want.
Be crystal clear what is that you want to achieve.
The power of Clarity is that not only you will fully understand your business, but your prospects will, too!

2. Purpose

Discover why you want it.
You have to know the reason why you want to achieve what you want to achieve
Is it for your family, your children and your community? What is your higher calling?
It must be something that you are willing to even lay your life for it.
For me personally it is my family. I tell myself I must give my family the best that life can offer.
Les brown once said: you have to be hungry to eat! You must be hungry for your goals to want to take massive actions!

3. Strategy
Develop a plan to accomplish your goals.
Plan to succeed. Plan to save time and plan to stay focus.
You must have a strategy and a concise plan to move your business forward.

a) Simplify
We MUST simplify to better control our time, double our income and increase the quality of our lives.
Simplify just means eliminating the activities that are taking too much time and not gearing you toward your goals. Stop doing things that do not make a difference. Here are some questions that you should be asking yourself:
1. Is this activity that I am embarking on getting me to where I want to go? If its positive, proceed. If its not ask yourself, how can I get out of the situation as soon as possible?
I personally keep asking empowering questions to sharpen myself. This is something that you might want to do.

b) Leverage
This is one of my favorite words in the dictionary. You leverage your strength and abilities to get the most out of yourself. Here I am going to share with you the forms of leverages that Ive developed which help me greatly in my entrepreneurship. These are some very powerful strategies that I want to share with you.
Technology: more millionaires are created thanks to technology. Other people’s knowledge, energy, money, successes, failures, ideas and contacts help us become millionaires. The list goes on and on! Simply put, you borrow strength from people and things around you that you do not possess and make it work for you.

c) Scalability
This is what differentiates the rich from the super rich. I will illustrate with an E.g.
I have a friend who is a Feng Shui Master. He charges $500 per hour for consultation. Even then there is a limit to how much he can earn in a month, as there is a limit to the numbers of hours he can spend on consultation. He increases his monthly income by more than 30 %. And its getting better by the month. What he did is simply sell his products on the Internet. He sells E-books, mp3 and video recording products of his teachings to the world. Now he plans to deliver seminars every year to thousands of people around the world. Scalabilities are one of the smartest ways to earn a lot of money in a short amount of time.

Here are a few strategies I personally use and recommend to add scalability:
~ Magnify your values by reaching more people at one time.
~ Earn recurring income from sales and referrals.
~ Earn profits and dividends (from stock) from businesses.

Just doing the above 3 steps consistently has made me a lot of money, I hope the same for you as well!

4. Priority

Decide what need to be done first.
Knowing your priorities is important as it can save you a ton of time doing things that are of low value. Get the most important matter done first. I train myself everyday to become a laser focus problem solver.

5. Action

Move towards your goal each and every day. Take massive action every day.
Sharpen your sets of actions that you take every day.
Become more productive and do more things of higher value.

Clarity > Purpose > Strategy > Priority > Action.
(Write them out in big words and what you want to accomplish for each of them in details.)

This plan may sound simple, but we are bound to face problems along the way. Its those of us who learn from those problems who continue on to becoming wealthy.
